The head spa treatment improves the blood circulation of the scalp, removes dead skin cells and impurities, hydrates and nourishes the hair, reduces hair loss, relieves stress and promotes healthy hair growth.
The frequency of the treatment depends on individual needs, but we generally recommend a treatment once a month in order to achieve the best results.
The treatment takes 30-45-60-80 or 100 minutes, which you can choose in our appointment booking.
No, the head spa treatment is a very pleasant and relaxing experience. You may feel slight pressure during the massage and treatments, but this does not cause pain.
The head spa treatment is recommended for anyone who wants to improve the health of their scalp and hair, relieve stress or simply pamper themselves. It can be especially useful for those who struggle with hair loss, dry or itchy scalp, dandruff or stress. The treatment is recommended for people over the age of 14.
No special preparation is required. It is recommended to come to the treatment with 2-3 days old hair so that the treatments are more effective. Come without make-up if possible, because we will clean your face during the facial massage.
The head spa treatment is safe and has no side effects. However, if your scalp is sensitive or you are allergic to certain products, it is important to let us know in advance when booking an appointment.
During head spa treatments, we use various special products such as scalp scrubs, deep cleansing shampoos, moisturizing masks, serums and oils. These products are selected after a scalp diagnosis to match the type of your scalp and hair and the purpose of the treatment.
The head spa treatment is generally safe for everyone. However, if you have any scalp problems, such as open wounds, infections or serious skin conditions, please make an appointment after the illness has passed.
Booking questions
You can book your desired appointment through the online booking system available on our website.
You can use your OTP or K&H SZÉP card only on-site. To do so, please enter the word “szepkartya” in the coupon section at the end of the booking process and apply it just as you would a regular coupon.
Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you would like to cancel, reschedule your appointment, or make any changes.
If you are unable to use the service at another time and have already paid the first half of the treatment fee in advance, please request a refund via email at buda@aquaheadspa.hu or belvaros@aquaheadspa.hu, depending on which salon you booked your appointment with.
The refund process is not automatic; it will only begin after we receive your email.
For any changes made within 24 hours prior to the appointment, a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service will be charged.
This also applies if the scheduled service is changed to a shorter or less expensive one.
Purchase of a giftcard
You can purchase a gift voucher online for our Budapest salons on the aquaheadspabudapest.hu website. Physical gift vouchers are also available for purchase at a pre-arranged time via one of our contact options.
Enter the code found on the gift voucher in the “coupon” section during the booking process, then apply it.
If the coupon code does not work, please contact us through one of our contact options.
Contraindications
Yes, with artificial eyelashes, but we do not recommend our treatments to people who wear hair extensions, as the various tools can get caught in the joints, so we cannot provide a full experience.
In the first and last trimester of pregnancy, expectant mothers cannot enjoy the comfort of the massage bed, and our treatments are performed in a fully supine position. Knowing and accepting these, we can receive pregnant women.
In any case, you must inform our colleague before the treatment if your facial skin is particularly sensitive. In this case, we do not usually recommend facial massage with a cup.
