General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Introduction

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) apply to electronic gift vouchers purchased through the Aqua Head Spa Budapest website at https://aquaheadspabudapest.hu/, as well as to services provided in the salon.

Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase or booking an appointment. By completing a purchase or booking, the customer accepts the terms set out in this GTC.

Nature of Services

Aqua Head Spa Budapest provides premium head spa treatments designed to improve the condition of the scalp and hair, while promoting physical and mental relaxation. Services are available in different treatment packages, which may vary in duration and content.

Electronic Gift Vouchers

Only electronic gift vouchers are available for purchase on the website. The vouchers are delivered in PDF format via email to the address provided during purchase.

Each voucher contains a unique identification code. Gift vouchers can only be redeemed at the following Aqua Head Spa Budapest locations: Downtown salon (1061 Budapest, Paulay Ede utca 19.) and Buda salon (1016 Budapest, Zsolt utca 6/B ground floor 1.).

Gift vouchers cannot be used at other Aqua Head Spa partner locations or salons.

Payment Terms

Gift vouchers can only be purchased online via electronic payment.

Available payment methods include credit/debit card payments via Stripe and Apple Pay.

Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider. The operator does not have access to or store card details.

Fulfillment

After successful payment, the gift voucher is automatically delivered electronically to the email address provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the provided email address.

Delivery is considered immediate upon successful payment processing.

Right of Withdrawal

The customer acknowledges that the gift voucher is provided as digital content.

By completing the purchase, the customer expressly consents to the immediate execution of the service and acknowledges that they lose their right of withdrawal once the performance has begun.

Use of Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can be used exclusively for services provided by Aqua Head Spa Budapest.

Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-refundable, cannot be used to purchase other vouchers, and cannot be combined with other promotions unless otherwise specified by the operator.

If the value of the selected service exceeds the voucher amount, the difference must be paid on-site. Vouchers cannot be used for gratuities.

Validity

Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

The validity period cannot be extended. If the customer books an appointment within the validity period and indicates the intention to use the voucher, the voucher remains valid for that booking even if the appointment date falls after the expiration date, provided that no earlier appointment was available before expiry.

Lost or Unauthorized Use

The voucher code represents monetary value. Aqua Head Spa Kft. is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of gift vouchers.

The unique voucher code must be presented for redemption.

Appointments

All services require prior appointment booking. Appointments can be made online through the website.

Customers will receive an automatic confirmation email after booking. Please do not reply to automated messages; use the provided contact details for inquiries.

Cancellation and Modification

Appointments can be canceled or modified at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations or modifications made within 24 hours of the appointment may result in a charge of 50% of the service fee.

If a prepaid service is canceled or modified within 24 hours, the operator reserves the right to retain 50% of the paid amount.

Late Arrival

Customers are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before their appointment. In case of late arrival, the duration of the service may be shortened or partially fulfilled.

The full service fee remains payable even in case of delay.

No-show

If the customer fails to attend the appointment without prior notice, or cancels/modifies within 30 minutes before the scheduled time, the operator reserves the right to charge 100% of the service fee.

If the customer arrives but decides not to use the service, it is also considered a no-show and the full fee applies.

Service Satisfaction

Aqua Head Spa Budapest aims to provide the highest quality services. If the customer is not satisfied, they may report it within 10 days of the service.

Refunds are not available, but the operator will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues.

Data Protection

Aqua Head Spa Kft. processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Collected data may include name, email address, phone number, and other necessary booking or purchase information.

The purpose of data processing includes order fulfillment, appointment management, and communication.

The customer acknowledges that certain data may be shared with the payment provider (Stripe) for payment processing purposes.

Cookies and Technical Data

The website may use cookies to ensure proper functionality, improve user experience, and collect statistical data. Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and browsing activity may also be recorded.

Final Provisions

Aqua Head Spa Kft. reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. Changes become effective upon publication on the website.

Any matters not regulated herein shall be governed by the applicable laws of Hungary.
